UF Health Shands has been dedicating its treatment services and programs to helping people who are struggling with alcohol and drug abuse in Lake City and within the surrounding area.
To this end, UF Health Shands facilitates a wide variety of treatment and rehabilitation programs, including short term rehab programs, outpatient substance abuse counseling, inpatient drug and alcohol rehab facilities, inpatient detoxification centers, long term treatment facilities and more. UF Health Shands also believes that it is important that it provides unique services to ensure that individuals get the results that they require. This is why UF Health Shands is specialized in 12-step facilitation approach, couple/family therapy, motivational interviewing, rational emotive behavioral therapy, brief intervention approach, dual diagnosis drug rehab, among other programs.
UF Health Shands also provides residential beds for client's children, seniors or older adults, clients with HIV/AIDS, legal advocacy, aftercare/continuing care, persons who have experienced sexual abuse, and offers some of the best continued recovery programs - all of which have been proven to further the results its clients expect. This drug and alcohol rehab program also uses treatment modalities that can help you achieve full stability both in the long term and permanently.
